Infusing Butters for Shortbreads
I'm infusing butters for shortbread cookies - four flavours. Can you guess what these are going to be?
You have till 4pm to figure it out - and get a chance to win a Guilt scented chocolate bar (though I'd much rather to be able to ship you some cookies, it is nearly impossible to do so without breaking them en-route).

::smacks forehead:: But of course! Excellent idea. Must try.
Now, because I can't see the picture while commenting, I'm going to go back and review the batches for guessing...
Saffron | Chive | Lavender | Orange Peel
(Okay, chive seems unlikely, but that was my first thought...being honest...)
Fun! My best guesses:
top left: saffron
top right: umeboshi
bottom left: lapsong souchong (or another black tea)
bottom right: osmanthus
Looks interesting and delicious.
1.Definatly saffron
2.Can not tell if it is possibly cocao or black cardamom
3.Then Lychee tea or pipalli, I would think Lychee might be a better taste for cookies.
4.Lastly osmanthus
Thanks for giving me some new ideas for butters and cookies. Angie
Thank you for the brave ones participating in this spontaneous contest!
Your guesses are quite innovative - good ideas there too... ahsu was the closest. The flavours (from top left, clockwise):
1. Saffron
2. Rose Petals + Almonds
3. Osmanthus
4. Jasmine Green Tea
